MĀDI was created with the mission to reduce textile waste coming from the increased clothing consumption. By giving brands valuable insights they need in order to understand how their customers interact with their clothing, how long their products can last, improved return processes, product defects and improved design.
Only 1% of textiles are recycled and 93% of resources used for making materials for clothing is from virgin feedstock, meaning extracted from the Earth. If we can reduce the need for virgin material and capture more clothing for recycling, we bring material back into the loop and reduce the amount of clothing go to landfills.
